PRIMAL SHARK
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Primal Shark processes when you use the website, browser extension and supporting API.
Last updated: September 10, 2026Data we process
Primal Shark processes public FACEIT profile, player and match identifiers to request and display match analytics. The website may also store player notes and preferences that you enter.
The extension stores its settings and language choice in browser storage. It may keep the latest successful analytics locally so saved data can be shown during an outage or rate limit.
How data is used
Data is used only to provide player analysis, map statistics, matchroom features and the settings you enable. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.
Cache and retention
Public match state may be cached for up to 30 minutes, recent-match statistics for up to 24 hours, and public profile, lifetime, map and ban data for up to 7 days. Hosting providers may retain limited security and request logs under their own policies.
Browser permissions
Storage saves settings and fallback analytics. Clipboard access copies a server connection command only when the related option is enabled. Tab and FACEIT-site access lets the extension add its interface and react to the visible matchroom.
Service providers
Primal Shark relies on FACEIT for public game data, Netlify for hosting and Redis Cloud for shared caching. Their own privacy terms may apply when they process requests. API keys and Redis credentials remain on the server and are not exposed to the extension.
Your choices
You can disable individual features, clear browser or website storage, or uninstall the extension at any time. Removing local storage deletes settings and locally saved data from that browser.
